How to opt out if desired

Post by tom »

I have a friend who would like to sign up for The Talking Machine Forum, but he first wants to kow how hard it is to "opt out" if he chooses to do so later on. Any guidance? Thanks.

I can't speak for this forum, since I'm only a member, not a moderator or admin, but I'm on a lot of other forums and 99.9% of people who opt out simply stop logging in.

In all seriousness, why would it matter to close an account or otherwise opt out? If you don't log in and don't participate, you are no longer part of the community. What could be simpler?

Anything posted here becomes a permanent part of the website. His only option would be to stop participating.
