The Talking Machine Forum — For All Antique Phonographs & Recordings

Their seems to be a fair amount of interest in creating a new Topic heading for electronic machines, mostly radio/phonograph combinations that are pre-1935, though I think 1937 would be a better year-just to give a bit more spread to the era. The heading would also include just phonographs that fall into the same topic and radios like an Edison R-7.

How do we go about making this happen.

I love these type of phonographs and play my 1928 Edison C-2 all the time for 78s and Diamond Discs, especially the electric ones. Might be a good idea, but not many viewers would go there. I don't mind seeing topics on electric radio/phonos in the Machines section, but maybe some do. Marc.

I think I’d like to keep them under machines for the time being. Creating new forums is a slippery slope for creating a ton of work for me relocating topics that have been miscategorized...
