After I read the two new messages it now shows that I now have 2 or (-2) unread messages.
Is this a fixable glitch?
Is there a way (by way of a link) to just view these unread (or ghost) messages?

The glitch has worked itself out.
I received a 1 new PM and the unread number dropped to -1.
After reading the new message, the unread is now gone.
