Post by emgcr »

When playing an EMG on a summer's evening in England one must be prepared for anything. Who would have imagined it could ever rain.......... ?

Wife and I were in Jolly Olde Mother Country in the summers of 2002-3-4, and it never rained a single time. So much for these malicious rumors (rumours?). :P

I have to agree with the previous poster. I live across the "sheugh" in Ireland and you English people know nothing about rain!!
That photograph brings back many happy memories Graham, even if the whole contraption looks poised to take off on an ungainly flight at any minute. Hopefully it doesn't sting. I'd hate to have to swat something as big as that!

The parasol might have a negative attenuation effect on the sound reproduction. Discuss.

Bat, monstrous insect or archaic helicopter?!

Graham, this reminds me of another unlikely configuration, of an EMG and a certain vintage car. Do please post a photo of that splendidly preposterous occasion too!

Probably da Vinci was involved in the original design and a later addition seems to be the slythy tove just appearing over the horizon at the centre.................

Here is a shot of the original Merry Oldsmobile (1902) incorporating "in house" 78 rpm music system that not a lot of people know about..............headwinds not an option !

Love it. This is going to be my "Windows wallpaper."
