Yes the machine on the left is an MP23 identical to my own, which is pictured earlier on this thread.

I also recognise the Micro-Perophone "Grippa" portable. One of these in Oxblood Red, given to me at the age of ten in 1957, was the first gramophone I ever owned. I wish I still had it now, but I literally wore it out, and a broken portable gramophone was not considered worth saving in those days. You could still buy an HMV102 brand new in a shop!

Very good machines. I see you now have the correct soundbox for it which probably makes it sound as good as it can be.
I am still looking for one of the biggest models of the Micro-Perophone, either model 27 or model 28, with sound reproduction probably equivalent to the second largest re-entrant H.M.V. model

Yes after three years search for correct soundbox I found one in Germany with help from epigramophone.

It is an MP22 with what appears to be a Meltrope III soundbox. Forum member "Old Country Chemist" owns a fine example.
