Yes Roger-a brilliant suggestion. I can see that gramophone burning brightly in my mind's eye. I think I have just about enough ideas from forum members to start things rolling!

Oh, am I too late? I thought of three - not great machines but interesting cartoon material...

Klingsor (sp?)
Crappophone
Frankenphone

Cheers,
David.

Thanks David-I am going to have to put off the cartoon drawing for a wee while, as recently I did some artwork for a big car rally to be held in Buxton, Derbyshire. Now I have heard from the organisers that it is cancelled there, and has been moved to Matlock, in Derbyshire. I spent nearly three weeks on designs and final artwork for this event, now it is back to the drawing board....!! After that is all over, I will take your suggestions, and let you know which ones I will be drawing for you. "Crappophone" certainly seems to be an admirable possibility indeed-lot of toilet humour could be incorporated within that one!
