Just saw this in Ebay. I've wanted to add an outside horn phonograph to my collection for some time, but I'm a little weary when it comes to obscure brand names. Who made it, or is it even real? Would it be worth adding to my collection, or should I let this one go?

It looks real... the only concern I would have is shipping it from Lithuania and receiving it in one piece...

This is a Swiss off-brand machine. It isn't worth the bother of shipping it across the ocean...unless you just have to have it.

It's nothing at all. Just a complete and utter cobbled up fake from Eastern Europe. There are literally hundreds of them in existence. They are the "New Updated Crapophone".

It is a genuine machine, but the horn has been mangled. The outer flare has been cut away, and I think the tapered end has been changed. In addition these machines are often very lightly built and flimsy. They are pretty to have but it is better to invest in a good Victor.
