This is an oddball: a recently manufactured external horn gramophone, by a well known French clock maker (and clearly branded), made with original parts, including soundbox, speed control and motor. Certainly not a crapophone nor a frankenphone. Coincidentally (or not), being advertised by two different sellers in the French Ebay

I have seen others from the same brand for sale over the years, with different case designs but what looks like the same back bracket and soundbox. This indicates that it was a product line and not a one-off. There is a you tube video of one, see

Does anyone know more about these gramophones?

Not really. I appreciate the fact that they don't pretend that this is "an original 1912 gramophone". On the other hand, though, I wish they would put their efforts in crafting (much needed) replica parts, eventually building new gramophones all made with replica parts.

The tracking angle of the soundbox in the fourth picture is giving me nightmares... :?

The soundbox connection pivots to play lateral and vertical cuts, and the photographer decided to align it right in the middle...
