I just found this horn which had a wrong elbow, removed the elbow and, after a good cleaning, got something quite nice BUT what is it exactly?
The length is 45cm and the diameters are 24.8cm and 1.5cm (however I realized that it has been slightly shortened by a previous owner).
Could you help?
Thanks, Jeff
ps: it would be great if more European collectors were collaborating to our forum!
Please help for horn (?) identification

Re: Please help for horn (?) identification
Looking at the dimensions it can be a Pathé Coquet horn. I've seen them usually painted red on the straight portion. Its a really pitty that is has been shortened but if you are looking to sell it I might be interested.
I will write a new post in a few minutes and you will understand why!
