For gramophones in The Netherlands:
Spreekmachines (by Harry Belle)

The Illustrated History of Phonographs by Daniel Marty ISBN 0-88029-388-8 covers French, German and other European manufacturers as well as American companies and their European branches.

French edition first published 1979. English edition 1981. Long out of print but reasonably easy to find.
