Hi,I'm seeking good photos of intact piece, mine is wreck. Today I dismantled, cleaned and greased the motor and found the Odeon logo on the bottom, I guess it's not original, although it's running nice and plays both sides of record with reserve.

Why do you think the motor isn't original are there other holes in the motor board ? the winding handle ( crank for our USA friends ) has probably been replaced as it looks too long

Yes, the crank clearly isn't original:

This is why I thought the motor isn't original too(asymmetrically located spindle):

Maybe the rubber washers are missing (it's screwed directly to the board).

There are plenty of photos on Google Images, including the one reproduced below. This machine appears similar to yours and also has the turntable mounted off centre. If your motor plays both sides of a record with power to spare it is likely to be a double spring. The winding handle appears to be of earlier date than the machine.

The motor has only one mainspring

Unfortunately someone altered the shaft for winding. I have spare threaded ending, but without crank for it.
Someone also brutalized hole for the crank

Anyone understands meaning of this piece of plastic?

I guess you're right, there aren't traces of other holes. Still feeling that case repair might be too hard.

I'm making a new cover, but this is best what I could get. Should I leave the drawer as it is (there's a decal in good condition, but I made a backup of it) or should I Unify colors and replace the cover on it too?
