Wow !! This machine looks amazing - never seen one with the drawer built in ! Anyone know what it is ?

I don't know the make, but I'm guessing this was meant to be used in some place like a cafe or a bar.

The reproducer is marked Starkton... isn't that a German brand?

The soundbox bears the anchor trade mark of Thorens, who supplied components to many manufacturers.
They also made complete machines under their own name, but I have never seen one like this.

Record storage, or an "honor system" coin box? I lean towards the former.

It sold for £411. The new owner will have hours of fun researching it's identity.
