Over The Top Gramophone

This recently found machine is certainly the most ostentatious I have ever owned.....if not,the biggest outside horn table model..what a monster... :lol:

It reminds me of a Victor Monarch Deluxe in many ways.

I believe this was made by Odeon and was one of their top of the line models. The motor is also massive and heavy. I wondering with this was a special exhibition display model to show off their skills..? I love the solid nickel bead rod screwed down along the motor board and nickel strips at the bottom of each side.

For scale....the turntable is 14" in diameter.

Thank you for the information. This would explain the markings I found on the sound box container and bottom of the case.
