Pathé Concert back to life!

We found a 1909 Pathé Concert B complete but dark and extremely dirty. Anyway, it was a real bargain for 100€ so I was more than happy to grab it!
We took some pics before and after cleaning and by now have a quite decent machine.

At first, we thought that the horn needed to be repainted but, after a lot of TLC, we don't know anymore if it's required or not. So, what would you do?

Jeff
PS: the Pathé Concert is much bigger than the Pathé Salon as it can also play the large 50cm disks.

Congratulations---you have the bargain of a lifetime---well done !

If it were mine I should leave the horn exactly as it is. The whole machine is so original that it would be a real shame to touch it in my humble opinion. If the damage was worse, then you would have a different situation but I find the slightly "weathered" cosmetic appearance most appealing.

What does it sound like ? May we have a video please ?

Many thanks---superb.

Indeed, what a find and what an unbelievable bargain! Another vote here for leaving the horn exactly as it is. It looks gorgeous, and as they say, "it's only original once".

The machine looks in nice shape, I would only clean it and wax it. The horn looks good as well. Now you can play your 50 cm discs, this machine was done for that purpose. Congratulations!

What a great find! Congratulations! I am green with envy  Please leave it as is, don't repaint that beautiful horn. Thanks for sharing. That would make a great featured phonograph when your done with it....

Very nice. Yes, PLEASE leave the horn alone. You've done a fantastic job with it already!

Very nice. I am envious of the wonderful variety of European machines and yours is a wonderful example I would be proud to have it in my collection. Jerry Blais
