THanks for the responses. This horn doesn't have the swirl lines, I have had a repro horn in the past that did, come to think of it. i agree, the base is interesting, and I can't help but wonder if it was applied by a wholesaler. It also reminds me of the fancy bases made for Columbia Eagles, etc. and the size is a bit too good to be a random "found item". Interesting!
