Please help for horn identification

Post by phonodesbois »

just found this nice horn but don't know on which gramophone it was used.( As the seller also had saphir records, the horn could come from a saphir machine.)
Horn diameter is approx 46cm and length 52 cm.
The elbow diameters are 2 and 5cm (wider than a Pathé elbow).
Could someone help?
Thanks,
Jeff

My mistake! The disks found with the horn were in two boxes. The first one without sticker contained both vertical and lateral cut records while the other one still had the Fonotipia/Odeon sticker and contained just lateral cut records from Odeon and two other labels I never heard about (Favorite records recorded in London and Dacapo (just one reproduced in Berlin).
So, could the horn come from an Odeon machine (I believe that Fonotipia made a few machines but they are scarce).
Does it ring a bell?

Favorite and Dacapo were both German labels which were acquired by the Lindstrom Group, which also owned Odeon, in early 1914.
