Apollo gramophones first appeared in about 1907 and lasted into the 1930's. Many of their early machines were of Paillard origin, including the hot air powered models.
In about 1922 they patented their "Deep Tone Resonator", a saxophone shaped internal horn, years ahead of HMV's better known design of late 1925.
