Hi all,
A small question on the Odeon Bauhaus: Could someone explain how the speed adjustment knob (at the base of the crank) is connected to the governor brake?
Thanks,
Jeff

Not to me, sadly - much as I'd love one, it's more than I feel justified in paying!

It works in the same way as a standard gramophone, as you turn the knob it pushes the governor moveable end and changes its height.

Well, it appears that the Bauhaus Odeon speed adjustment is a bit special .
On mine (not restored yet) , what I call the « magic button » does handle the brake but not the speed regulator as a connector is missing somewhere.
Not being fluent enough in English, I made some pics to explain my problem.
Any help will be welcome!
Jeff
PS: I’m pretty sure I will never find the very same motor so I just have to fix mine the right way …
