HMV 102 motor breakdown video?

Post by Bdbill »

Not much on the internet regarding how to tear down and put back together a HMV 102 motor. I'd like to clean and grease the one I have. Watching a video is so helpful. Anyone up to the task on making a video for us beginners? Thank you for your time!

Here you go. Scroll down to "soundboxes and motors" in the left hand box, then click on HMV 270 motors:

Thank you for the link. I see a few pics of the motor, but someone actually taking one apart and putting it back together on video would help a lot of people. That's what I used to confidently clean a Victor Credenza motor.

Go to the "restore-a-gram" link, and click on the picture of a dismantled motor. This will take you to a video of the dismantling of a similar HMV motor. The method is the same as for the 270 motor in the 102.
