Hello Everyone

I purchased this very ornate mahogany machine manufactured by The Gramophone & Typewriter Company at auction a couple of weeks ago.It has some issues, wrong crank, reproducer and is missing some of the applied molding.

It came with an beautiful Victor oak horn that I have since moved to my Vic III machine (perfect match).
I have only seen a couple of these machines and all seemed to be "marriages" where the horn does not appear to be correct for this machine.

Does anyone know what horns were offered with this machine or have any pictures showing the original set-up?
The horn elbow on my machine appears to be original but aside from a very small hole on the top there doesn't seem to be anything to support the horn onto the elbow.

Any help would be very much appreciated???

Thanks
Steve

Your machine is a "New Melba", the most expensive of the Senior Monarch range.
The original horn would probably have been a brass Morning Glory, but a spear tip Mahogany horn was also available.
