I'd snag it if I were you!

The brand, by the bye, is "Electrola," not "Electora." Both sound suitably antique, though.

Thanks,

Orlando show tomorrow and Saturday so will see if I can go see it on Sunday.

It is going cheap but would like an estimate on value?

Picked it up today along with a table top Columbia Grafonola .... Total for both $220.00

Will post pictures tomorrow.

I do not believe the reproducer is original to the machine. It has a Goldring reproducer.

Any thoughts?

The original reproducer for these machines is a Electrola-labeled version of the English HMV4 (similar to the Victor 4). Electrola nr 4 reproducers are not that common, but their English HMV counterparts are, you can find them at least weekly for sale on the English ebay. If you don't care much for the authenticity, the Goldring is a good reproducer, and it may perform as well as the nr 4 on this machine.

Thanks Carlos. You confirmed what I thought. I will keep the Goldring on the machine and keep my eyes open for the correct reproducer.

There is one for sale at the German ebay, see https://www.ebay.de/itm/Electrola-No-4- ... rk:12:pf:0

Unfortunately it looks like it has a damaged mica.

It's not an Orthophonic Victrola, it's an HMV Model 109, made in London but badged 'Electrola' for the German market where, as a result of WW1, The Gramophone Company no longer had the rights to the HMV trade mark. It dates from about 1927.
