Teak HMV 112 value?

Post by kirtley2012 »

I have a teak colonial HMV 112, the only problem is I bought a new computer to replace my old one and almost immediately broke the screen on it so I need to sell this machine to repair it, anyone have an idea of the current value of these machines?

Thanks

Alex

Are you asking about the one you purchased just 3 months ago? If so, I doubt that it has appreciated or depreciated much since then. You know what you paid for it. That is probably a fair estimate of its value.

No computer is worth the pain of parting with an HMV112. Where will you find another?

I have a pristine unmarked and totally original 112 in teak.

I wouldn't sell it for less than £500.

Don't bother with a new computer screen--get a secondhand screen and keep the HMV in teak. That's a First World Problem if you ever heard of one--go on and get that screen off whatever Craigslist alternative England has and go for it! :D

I've been trying that, although it is cheaper for a whole new computer, not much, the HMV hasn't been getting the use it deserves anyhow, when you have an Expert, the others tend to get neglected
