It does not look newly made. The only point of concern is the oversized crank escutcheon which could be a crude replacement or indicate a motor replacement done a long time ago.

It looks good and not a Crapo phone. The reproducer is iffy. Check to see the marking on the motor or if there is anything on the bottom of the phonograph.. The elbow is original. Is this yours or are you thinking of buying this. ???

The rust and pitting on the elbow and arm will take some work to finish up. If it cranks up that is a plus. Does it have a Garrard motor in it.?? The wood work looks good though. If it was reasonable I would buy it so go for it if you want the pleasure of bringing a phonograph back to life. If it comes with a horn that would also be a plus. Parts horns and advice are all available on this forum Tom
