Unusual second HMV sticker / logo on portable

Post by poodling around »

I just noticed this and wondered if it is original / significant / where it came from ?

It seems to have the usual logo / sticker and this one too.

That's the place where, in my experience, most shops/sellers used to put their badge.

I've never seen the logo in picture, but it looks an obvious fake to my eyes - possibly a xerox sheet trimmed with scissors and pasted, perhaps to disguise a stain.

Oh, I see ! It had me puzzled and what you say makes complete sense.

Thank you very much Marco.
