They're certainly cool but not really that uncommon from the number of them that seem to turn up. I have one that seems like it was never used in it's box. Picked it up at a Wayne show maybe 5 years back. They really don't sound that great and I'm sure they're not very kind to DDs, I played a couple with mine and returned it to the box. Neat to own, but not really to use. I think I paid $150 for mine, one day I'll see if I can do something to make it sound better, it was pretty weak.

I saw two or three pop up on eBay last year. They all seem to sell around that price of $300.(https://www.ebay.com/itm/VICSONIA-Repro ... _cvip=true)

I know Doug had one and showed it on his YouTube channel awhile back.(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNwzd7nCJ08)

I think their main appeal, which seems to drive the price, is being able to play a DD on your Victor. I've got a couple of them. I would agree they sound just okay at best, not at all comparable to a DD reproducer. :monkey:
