Admittedly, it could be a full-time job instructing eBay sellers. I typically do so only when I'm interested in purchasing the item. (There are only 24 hours in a day!)

I have found that it literally pays to help some novice sellers. Two grateful sellers voluntarily paid me a 10% commission for my advice. I best remember one seller that had a number of Pink Lambert cylinders mixed in with a bunch of Edisons. The picture was so poor that you could hardly see anything, but I noticed a spot of pink. I convinced the seller of what he had and he relisted the records with better pictures and descriptions. The lot sold for about $3,000.00 and the seller mailed me a check for $300.00. Not bad returns for a bit of advice.
