It is in the UK, so ask if you can pop 'round to see it before bidding. He might even serve up a cuppa while you look at it.

I remember a while back, there was some one from Bulgaria that kept listing and re-listing a Berliner at a ridiculously low price. That seller also had 0 feedback. I wonder if it's the same seller and moved to the UK?

Harvey, I think you mean "Lithuanian" seller was fraudulently listing a Berliner Gramophone.

I knew it was some one from Eastern Europe. I couldn't remember which country.

Another member has picked up on this item and started a parallel thread in the "Machines" section, so perhaps the threads should be merged.

If I was selling such a rare and fragile machine I would much prefer the buyer to collect in person, but then I would have to disclose my location in the UK, which the seller has been careful not to do.

The following message now appears :

"The listing has ended because there was an error in the listing."

The seller's other listing for a Shoals typewriter has been pulled also. Very shocking, isn't it?
