WHY DO PEOPLE DO THESE THINGS?

Post by epigramophone »

This poor old Brunswick crossed the Atlantic only to meet this fate!

It must wish that it had stayed at home!

The Ultona will be of use to someone, but as for the rest......

I'm glad I haven't eaten yet. It would have turned my stomach.

But it's "professionally powder painted"! It doesn't get any better than that :o and the turntable just might work, even.

If you think that's bad, at least it's not as hideous as this Brunswick that's been annoying me on CL lately.

It does come with extra needles, though.

At least the case isn't all chopped up. This one can be stripped, refinished, and restored.

In the eBay ad, the seller noted, "“This was working but the” [….]

Perhaps this wretched, abused, "Barney"-colored Brunswick took its revenge on the seller, before the latter could complete the note. :-)

Here's an amusing "seller's glossary" from the Telechron clock website; I think we all can recognize these universal dodges.
