Credenza on Portland, OR craigslist
There's a nice spring driven Credenza under "antique victrola" on the Portland Oregon craigslist. The price is $500. Jerry

Too bad it's on the other side of the continent. I look to the day something like that is nearby and I manage to actually get to it first.

I traded emails with the seller and hopefully he will post more photos of the machine. I am available to get this brute of a Victrola about twos thirds of the way across this country. That's the best I can do. Jerry

Well, I really don't consider Connecticut in my neck of the woods, either.brianu wrote:fran604g wrote:Too bad it's on the other side of the continent. I look to the day something like that is nearby and I manage to actually get to it first.

Jerry, you are one of the most generous people I've known. As tempting as this is, I'm just not capable of the rest of the trip, and I'm not sure I should ask anyone else to.Jerry B. wrote:I traded emails with the seller and hopefully he will post more photos of the machine. If I thought I could manage driving my truck all the way to Union, I would go just for the experience of the show. Right now, I can't even manage the drive to the Wayne show.
Thank you,
Fran

Fran,
I'd be happy to get the machine from Union to you.

Well, the guy tried to squeeze me for $800. He can keep it.
