Although the H&S horn is nice to find with a Victor. The price seems to be heading into "wood horn" territory. In other words.....not a super deal there.
That said.....a Vic 3 is a great all around player and when new was a good mid range priced seller. Therefore, not an uncommon machine at all.

I was looking at the picture of the horn and elbow. It sure doesn't look right to me. It looks like a make shift cone was put onto a cylinder horn to make it "fit". It's way over priced, and a god cylinder horn ruined.

At that price I'm not at all interested. But right now, smaller is better for me. Mama put the kabosh on the big ones. I salso saw a Columbia AK (I'm pretty sure) at an antique store intact for 750.00 the other day. Still too high but a very nice looking machine.

Exactly what I see: a discontinuity like that between horn and elbow raises some red flags.Phonofreak wrote:I was looking at the picture of the horn and elbow. It sure doesn't look right to me.
