Orthophonic R-20 Radiola Cabinet--Des Moines Craigslist

This one might be worth grabbing, even though it's just the cabinet --

The seller's date is off by about 24 years. It's the first time I've seen an actual photograph of this model.

Some added information, since nothing appears online:

According to my copy of "Look for the Dog," this was Victor's "...first ever radio console" from 1926 which, not surprisingly used a conventional style Victrola cabinet. In place of the turntable, tonearm, etc., a radio panel with visible tubes, and controls was installed.

According to Baumbach's "Victor Data Book," (page 300) this was fitted with a small re-entrant style horn, and a permanent magnet type driver or voice coil. Production was less than one year, with 6,382 units shipped. This would make this one of the last ones manufactured.

I don't know if any working models exist. I've never even seen a photo of the panel under the lid, or the horn.
