This is an unlucky Victrola model! I've never seen one in unmolested condition. Maybe the fact that it looked so much like an ornate sideboard is the reason they were gutted as soon as they became outdated. Too bad.

I've been casually looking for some time (here, eBay, Craigslist, etc.) for an orthophonic that is larger and fancier than my Credenzas.
It may just be my unfortunate luck, but so far, all of the machines I have come across, are either gutted, or modernized with 1940's or 50's radios and record players.
Where are all the originals??????? :D :D :D
Maybe I'm fishing in the wrong waters.

That went fast! Hope it was sold to someone who appreciates what it was or could be, though a full restoration would probably not be possible.
