From time to time, I get buyers who know nothing about antique phonographs, but want to give one as a present for their husband, etc. I wonder how many get suckered into these crapophone deals.

I Emailed the seller informing him that the machine is an Indian "confection" made from various recycled parts, and that it should not be used to play cherished records due to the usual appalling tracking.
His reply was:-
