That's a sheepish looking CRAP-o-phone... I guess it took its inspiration from the song - "The music goes round and round, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh... and it comes out here."
"The phonograph† is not of any commercial value."
Thomas Alva Edison - Comment to his assistant, Samuel Insull.

"No one needs a Victrola XX, a Perfected Graphophone Type G, or whatever you call those noisy things."

The seller thinks it's a goat. Whatever it is I expect it sounds a bit woolly    , and I doubt that it smells of roses, but it would amuse the grandchildren.

Of all my 78rpm children's records, their favourite is "The Three Billy Goats Gruff".

If you had a horn stuck in the same place as the sheep/goat, you would have that same eerie expression, too    . I wonder if the goat/sheep is a real one stuffed, or a very realistic model. One more thing, where is the crank???
