It's really interesting how many off-brand machines were produced. I can't imagine that this machine was more than a limited production model.

I'm wondering if the tonearm and sound box are original to the machine. I didn't think that Meteor was still viable during the Orthophonic era -- post 1926.

Someone had previously mentioned one---maybe you purchased it from him? I think I still have the original flyer---showing a few different models, this one included. Use the search option to find this thread---no picture though. I don't have a camera or cell phone, but if you "pm" me with your cell phone #, I will search for the original flyer---if I still have it and get someone to send a picture to you----if interested.
