nice, obviously super rare, but too bad the albums (and likely the original old wreath style key) are missing, and the gold plating appears over-polished (should look satin rather than shiny and reflective).

It's astonishing to me that this magnificent machine didn't sell in it's first posting on ebay. Not enough rich collectors out there with an eye for beauty and rarity?

It's a beauty, for sure. And, perhaps I'm being peevish here, but it bugs me to see a 30s Decca record sitting on the turntable. "On The Good Ship Lollipop," no less.

There's a way you can fix that. "Pony up, Buttercup!" :D At least it's not a DD.

You need to add on and buy this!!!
