This was the company which marketed Marathon records. National Gramophone commenced business in 1911 and was later incorporated as The National Gramophone Co.(1913) Ltd. This second business failed in 1915.
The records used a vertical cut with a V-shaped profile, allowing the grooves to be more narrowly spaced and the playing times increased.
