No - when I was following it, it was still under $1k - during the last hour of the auction, the price just shot up - I'd love to own a Robert Johnson record, but not for $2.5k

I didn't find any Robert Johnsons in my late friend Arthur Pare's storage units,but I did find a couple Barbeque Bob records on Columbia Viva-Tonal.If Arthur had one I would've grabbed it!edisonplayer

Some of his 78 discs, all of which are extremely rare, have sold for $12K. I own one called "Stop Breaking Down," which has been covered by The Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton, among others.
