That's a worthy project! Someone snap this up! It does not deserve to become a shabby-chic bar.

This phonograph is serial number 12598A and the ID plate still shows the VTLA designation. The Baumbach VICTOR book states the VTLA designation was changed to VV-XVI somewhere between 12302 and 12698. This has to be one of the very last (latest known?) with the VTLA designation. Pretty cool!

And 128 dollars! I mean, there are a few things wrong, but a VTLA, with one-sided records and albums! :o If I lived in LA...

It's ABSOLUTELY A NO BRAINER...  I paid $500 just for a set of albums for my VTLA... and would do so again, if I needed them.

I have a pair of VTLA L doors if the buyer of this machine needs them. Price is the cost of shipping these doors only. Carvings are good on my doors but they appear they will be dark compared to the machine at Goodwill. Good Luck! John Duffy

How much would it cost to ship this from LA to Castle Rock, WA? My "low ball" bid was shockingly sufficient to win. Now all I have to do is get it up here. Oh, boy...

Actually, I'm kind of excited.

Congrats! This is a very interesting Victrola. If at any point you get sick of it, I'll take that motor and board off your hands for, well let's say $30? Seriously though, it's a very cool machine!

Actually, VEF, there is currently a Consolette listed https://www.shopgoodwill.com/Item/48742292 at the same Goodwill store where the VTLA was listed. But it's pretty shot, stripped, no horn, etc. Were you closer to CA, I have one I'd be happy to sell you!
