Found this listing while 'touring' the country on Craigslist. Is anyone familiar with the make? It has been posted for almost a month and seller is open to offers.
Maybe a sweet deal if it is ligit.

Pay no attention to the posted price of $1 - the words "Make Offer" are the key. The seller will wait for the highest offer - and then list it on Ebay for three times that.

Which is not allowed on Craigslist:
https://www.craigslist.org/about/help/faq#prohibited
"Can I put a link in my for sale posting pointing to an auction site like eBay?
No. Please post a set price, do not solicit bidding, and do not link to auctions elsewhere."
People do this all the time*** and whenever I see an ad like this, I click the
prohibited button. If enough people do this, the ad will be taken down.

*** I blame Craigslist for this. There should be provisions on the site to automatically flag auction ads -- detecting phrases such as "make offer" or "bid" -- and flash a warning whenever someone tries to post one. Also, the disclaimer prohibiting auction ads should appear up-front on the page where the ad is posted, rather than being hidden in the long list of FAQs.

Craigslist is not like Ebay. Completing the sale is strictly between the seller and buyer. If you send a message saying I'LL BUY, it means nothing- even if the seller says YOU GOT IT.

Considering the number of people who have been scammed and/or murdered responding to Craigslist ads, I stay away from it... I'm sure that someone will counter with "I use it all the time with no problems..." Actually, there are no problems... until there are.

I've had no problems EXCEPT three times when after an agreement was made the seller ceased communication & removed the ad, I believe in all three cases he was selling to someone who offered more.
