This particular Class M didn't look messed with, and appeared to be in nice condition. Because there's no lid, the pinstriping on Class Ms can suffer over the years.

This example is also an 1896 or later Class M (National Phonograph Company), and they don't seem to turn up as often as the North American examples.

The cabinet and governor block match, as do the governor frame type and carriage. All these parts appear to be original to the machine (which isn't always the case!). A nice example for sure. :)
