Nothing, a modern label tacked on to the machine description to signify a nickel plated model.

thanks... no wonder I couldn't find it in any of the books. so XP as in extra plating? as opposed to NP for nickel plating? no matter. I've just been trying to find more information about this model since I found one myself last year.
