Frankenphone. Motor board doesn't fit properly. Non-Pathé tonearm, etc.

the motor/motor board (including brake, etc.) is obviously incorrect.
but the tonearm and reproducer are Pathé... the reproducer shown is just an adapter for lateral cut discs.

I had a Pathé 50 for a few years. Same motor board. I never knew why there was such a gap so I think the motor board is correct. The tonearm/reproducer definitely wrong.

I’ve had a few of these and seen many more. You have it completely opposite. The motorboard, wrong. The tonearm, correct (with an original adapter for lateral discs).
Here’s an example of a smaller Pathé, the model 25, with the same tonearm and lateral adapter.
