"THIS HAS NO LID AS THE PREVIOUS OWNER DISPLAYED THIS NICE MACHINE THIS WAY."
... looks like you're still taking the blame for the disappearance.

Well, as I said, it looks an awful lot like the one I had. I never said it WAS, with all due respect.

Hate to burst anyone's bubble, but if you compare Sean's machine which he sold in the Yankee Trader: http://forum.talkingmachine.info/viewto ... 1&p=125395
...with the one in this eBay ad, you can see they are identical by comparing the grain and distinct blemishes around the crank. The horn also has the same dent patterns as well, which suggests this machine did not get sold at Stanton's with a green horn, unless the original was miraculously re-united with the machine.
It's a shame that the lid got ... "lost" ...

I thought so, but what do I know? Crank has been swapped with a substitute also.

I think that there is little to no doubt that this is the same cabinet.

I didn't realize the Stanton catalog listed previous owner's display preferences...brianu wrote:"THIS HAS NO LID AS THE PREVIOUS OWNER DISPLAYED THIS NICE MACHINE THIS WAY."
