They are selling it as an Edison Cylinder Rack.
Is it a cylinder rack? Is it a Dictaphone rack? Or is it a Battery rack?

It is, however this is not for entertainment records, originally for carrying dictating machine cylinders around in an office, early ones are wooden.

Actually, those are raised, not depressed into the base. The picture could pass for an optical illusion. Those raised bumps nestled into the indented bottom of the Ediphone cylinder box to keep them in place.Vinrage_mania wrote:note the depressions at the bottom ...interesting
