..."the restored finish is in excellent condition.." ..to each his own. Your eye definitely goes right to the lid decal to know this has been stripped and stained. The price is definitely out of this world...

It’s like we’re back in the 90s with all these badly refinished overpriced phonos I’ve been seeing lately. I’ve stopped taking photos like I used to, it’s less funny than it used to be. On the bright side, maybe this is a sign of consumer/dealer confidence.

Why do these people not stain the cases after they strip them? I thought color match was the name of the game.
