They sold this 3-dial TRF set back in the 1920s, tho this is a sorry example, also built a line of cone speakers.

I have that very same 3-dialer (and that same speaker). I've not yet tried to check it out and fire it up - there is almost zero documentation on them, but like most such sets it will be a simple matter of checking the xfmrs and grid leaks and solder joints and general continuity.
