Columbia recorder in box, less stylus

A good friend of mine listed this over on my little venue:

Ginny added a pic of a nail like thing with what she says looks like mica stuck to it that she found in the box. It doesn't look like the cutter to me but what do I know? Any ideas?

Would be good for experimenting, with a glass cutter and home made holder...
