Please id - gramophone related ? Junk or treasure ?

Post by poodling around »

In my total ignorance and vivid imagination it could have been part of an early EMG gramophone or maybe something quite different like an old train station microphone type part / thing.

It looks quite interesting and as if it was 'quite something' in it's day - maybe ?

Looks like the bottom half of an early radio loudspeaker.

Yes, it looks like the middle section of an Amplion Dragon speaker.
