Exactly "I lost the crank is another red flag" I may check on this later today and then plead it would be a nice
stocking stuffer......My wife suggested renting a storage unit, not good! Bill K

This may be a British made machine, as there was a fashion over here for barley twist legs on cabinets in the late 1920's.

Yes the machine could be a Maxitone, what Americans call an "off brand" and we in the UK call an "assembled" gramophone i.e. assembled from bought in components.
